JOSHUA MONTREL | CO-PRODUCER

Joshua Montrel is a writer, filmmaker, and policy analyst from New Orleans, LA. Joshua is often at the intersection of policy and storytelling. After earning his BA in Political Science and Film at Howard University and more recently an MPA at Tulane University, he found that nothing moves people to action faster than the power of a good story. Joshua uses his storytelling prowess to advance issues such as the plight and decay of urban communities, climate change, criminal justice reform, and mass incarceration. Growing up in an incarcerated family, the latter two topics are personal to him. That experience led him to collaborate with Fox and Rob Rich on TIME II: Unfinished Business. This powerful story of love and justice is Joshua’s first time producing a feature-length film and is one he is extremely proud to have a hand in bringing into the world.
